In my life as a mathematician, I travelled frequently for talks, conferences, and research collaborations. These stays, long or short, offered me the opportunity to record with my Leica my impressions of other ways of life: in China, Barbados, Sicily, and Brazil, … Having already presented the work of a number of photographers whose images I appreciate, I decided to take the plunge and show a selection of the photographs culled during my mathematical travels.
