Journey of Light

Born in 1986 in Cittadella, Italy, Massimiliano Moro currently lives and works between Lugano and Barcelona. In his artistic practice, he seeks the creation of new equilibriums between light and architecture through the practices of design and sculpture. Its interdisciplinary methodology results in interventions that modify the perception of space. In opening the site-specific solo exhibition "Journey of Light" of Massimiliano Moro at Espronceda, the curator welcomes everyone to come aboard for a journey in perception. "Journey of Light" guides the spectator through two stages, moving from the familiar into a space where light, as a dynamic sculpture, generates transformative energy. Dark areas give way to precise illuminations, casting color and shape against the gallery's architecture.
