10th Anniversary | Gallery Inauguration

A 10-year retrospective exhibition (2013-2023) brings together international artists from Al-Tiba9 past museum exhibitions. The exhibition of this artistic manifestation was born in Algiers in 2013 and then spread internationally in 2015. This year, it presents a retrospective exhibition of the last 10 years (2013-2023). The curator of the exhibition and founder of Al-Tiba9, Mohamed Benhadj, brings together international artists for this show, each representing a specific year of previous editions of Al-Tiba9 that took place at the BARDO National Museum in Algiers, MAMA Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Algiers, and UPF Pompeu Fabra de la Ciutadella in Barcelona. The 10th edition of Al-Tiba9 and the gallery's inauguration occurred during Barcelona Art Week, coinciding with the contemporary art fair SWAB Barcelona 2023.
